For over 100 years, Kidsfirst has remained proudly not-for-profit.
That means everything we do is for the benefit of tamariki, whānau and communities. We are not here to provide a return to shareholders, and our focus is very clear. We remain committed to high quality early childhood education, fully qualified and registered teachers, big backyards for tamariki to explore and grow in, and ensuring that the resources and spaces are there for them to learn at their own pace and through their own interests.
We need help to do all this - and are always grateful to individuals, trusts and foundations, and private sector organisations who continue to support us with time, funding and resources.
There are so many ways to keep kindergarten alive and flourishing:
- Buy Kindy Kid merchandise and nominate a kindergarten of your choice that will benefit from your purchase
- Volunteer your time at a kindergarten or for a kindergarten project
- Sponsor an award or event
- Make a donation
- Leave a bequest so kindergarten can thrive for future generations
