Technology of the past.
When you look back on the history of kindergarten some images become iconic; representing a time and a place that will forever be remembered in the years to come.
Take a closer look at the dresses and shirts, probably the children's best clothes and how the photography has been meticulously hand coloured in the days when colour photography was too expensive and too inaccessible for most kindergartens.
It is such a stark constrast to today where digital cameras or smartphone technology means our kindergarten activities can be documented many times over, each day by eager parents, children and teachers.
Below are some modern shots of Opawa St Martins - who knows how these photos will be looked back on when kindergarten and technology moves on in another 100 years.
