Kidsfirst Glacier Country first opened its doors to welcome tamariki and whānau on the 20th July 2015. One year on - they threw a party.
The early learning centre celebrated with a special Kidsfirst cake especially made by one of the parents. And in true West Coast style it got rained on!
The youngest child at the time the centre opened, Lachlan Taylor, cut the cake with Head Teacher Tracey Hall, the teaching team, tamariki and whānau looking on.
Special guests included Kidsfirst's CE Sherryll Wilson and Business Development Manager, Jenny Pitama.
Popcorn and balloons added to the festive party atmosphere for the crazy hair disco and shared family pot luck tea. Everyone got right into birthday celebration spirits busting out some great moves on the dance floor.
I wonder who blew out the candle?
