Take a balloon and go wild.
Imaginations soared when the children at Kidsfirst Maniototo worked on their pieces of art.
Just have a look at the pictures below to see how much fun was had. (Luckily it was an outside experience!)
It was a great way to explore using different colours and texture. The squishiness of the balloons really added to the experience.
To get into it, all that was needed was some balloons and something to hold the paint - then the children let loose!
It would be a challenge for anyone not to enjoy the tactile fun of the actual process, or not to be amazed at what great results can be produced.
At Kidsfirst Maniototo, balloons and paint created great opportunities for development as well as making colourful artworks (and a bit of a mess!).
