Amazing cakes were on offer at Kidsfirst Avonhead for their annual cake auction and disco fundraiser...
“What a great turnout there was and the cakes were spectacular!” says Teacher, Catherine Tunnicliffe.
In the week leading up to the community event tamariki had honed their dance moves to go with the tunes, under a dazzling disco ball.
“We want to acknowledge and celebrate everyone's contribution and Manaakitanga (kindness/kinship/hospitality) for our kindergarten event,” says Catherine.
“Many thanks to all of the volunteers who made an evening of whānau dancing, food and laughter, such a success.”
