“Making decorations out of dough requires co-ordination and the ability to follow instructions,” says Kidsfirst Lincoln Teacher, Helen Smith. “But this does not mean that they all look the same, with each carrying the individual mark of their creator.”
Children have also been encouraged to have a sift through their toys at home to find the ones that they do not play with and would like to give to other children for Christmas.”
“These will be walked to the City Mission local collection point in Lincoln to help spread some festive cheer to those less fortunate,” says Helen.
