“We had a wonderful day,” says Kidsfirst Ngaire Larcombe's, Head Teacher, Kate Norman. “We enjoyed shared kai, face-painting, a bouncy castle and a birthday cake.”
Lorraine shared in the history of her mother Ngaire, with a heartfelt speech about her tireless work to help establish kindergartens in the community.
She remembered her mum as, “being very passionate and proactive and such was her enthusiasm for kindergarten fundraising that they always had a house full of raffle tickets.”
Other very special guests included Kidsfirst Ngaire Larcombe’s very first Head Teacher, Jocelyn Cameron and the local community policing team who popped by to share in the fun.
